Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (CCMF) alumni and Cyberport incubatee MindLayer has showcased its banking chatbot solution at the DBS Accelerator Programme’s Demo Day, as a part of their admission to the DBS Accelerator Programme.
In using Cantonese Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Conversational Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology, the advanced platform takes customer queries on its own or from channels such as Wechat and Facebook and automates the response in the user’s native language- Cantonese or English.
The solution’s bilingual language processing engine is unique on the market as it is backed by real AI technologies including Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning. In addition, the platform is built in align with the localised Chatbot user experience that fits the market needs.
The solution currently focuses on the banking industry, but plans are underway to expand the scope to other sectors including aviation and insurance. The company is expected to release its first developer portal early next year in order for developers to build their own AI-powered Chatbot. In parallel, they are looking for partners to power up the portal for future development.
“Aside from office space and financial support, we have also received valuable advice on management and business negotiation from mentors and workshops. The connections and recognition from Cyberport has been valuable in helping us expand our business network,” said Kinni Mew, CEO of MindLayer.
