Incubatee Sport Sensing Asia’s admittance into the 4-month Wearable IoT World (WIoTW) Labs IoT Superhighway Accelerator will help strengthen its brand building and PR capacity, refine its pitching know-how and customer engagement as well as optimise its Silicon Valley network and access to industry experts and peers.
The company is the brainchild behind Clim8, the first intelligent clothing that monitors and analyses the wearer’s body temperature, then responds to the data and signals it has collected to deliver the appropriate amount of heat in any given situation.
“The future of clothing will remove the need to choose based on weather or activity. Clothing will automatically adapt to our body temperature throughout the day,” said Mr. Florian Miguet, CEO of Clims8.
The series of shirts, now in the final development stage, we have just launched the second phase of the Beta test with the support of ISPO which is the leading platform of the sports business and is a partner for companies in different development stages in the global sports market.
“Clim8 is leading the way for the intelligent clothing industry. Their participation in the WIoTW Labs IoT Superhighway Accelerator marks a milestone and will surely open more doors for their business development,” said Herman Lam, CEO of Cyberport.
“Cyberport definitely helps us to form a strong team to step on the path of entrepreneurship. It provides a convenient, dynamic ecosystem for entrepreneurs to share experiences and foster partnership amongst start-ups in the community”, said by Mr. Florian Miguet. The company became a Cyberport incubatee last August. It will participate in the CES Las Vegas Show and the ISPO Sports Fair in Germany next year.
