OK Care’s HealthTech platform makes finding quality home healthcare services easy
Young professionals may not always have the time, skill, or ability required to address their ageing parents’ healthcare needs. The good news is that they can now turn to OK Care, an innovative HealthTech start-up.
OK Care has launched a high quality, one-stop healthcare platform that extends nursing and rehabilitation beyond traditional medical institutions to the users’ homes.
Their online platform and mobile app can match users to a range of home healthcare services from preventive to specialist services offered by a network of more than 400 healthcare professionals. Users can speedily and easily book and pay for the services of professional caregivers through the platform.
OK Care offers such services as daily home care and clinical nursing care; rehabilitation treatment including physiotherapy, exercises, and acupuncture; elderly home care, and even hospital discharge service, maternal and infant care, as well as on-site assessments, such as assessments of the household environment for fall prevention.
Founded in 2016, OK Care has set its mission to facilitate caregiving through technology and to promote active ageing through preventive healthcare and early intervention. The company’s goals are to enhance the quality of life of all family members and to open new employment opportunities for healthcare professionals.
In 2019, OK Care will be exploring collaboration with different organisations in the community to reach out to more users.
