Incubatee Diggin’ mobile street dance app gains momentum 

Incubatee Diggin’ Limited has introduced a first-of-its-kind one-stop mobile platform for street dancers and fans in Hong Kong.

The app allows users to check out different types of street dances, watch demonstrations, meet other street-dancers for practice, access a database of dance schools in the city and register for upcoming dance events.

Other app features include online payments, event entry and judging system for dance competitions and event organisers, which can save participants’ time and facilitate smooth running of dance competitions.

Up to 15 medium and global scale competitions have used the Diggin’ app for judging purposes since last October with reviews on the app’s judging board showing positive feedback.

Looking ahead, the company is seeking US$300,000 in seed funding to further expand its operations to different areas including Macau and Taiwan with the aim of promoting street dancing culture worldwide.

“Street dancers are traditionally not considered professional nor highly investible. Cyberport’s networks and credibility have helped shift that mind set and proved the potential of this market and our solution,” explained Marco Chung, Co-founder and CEO of Diggin’ Limited.
