Origami Labs embraces seamless voice interface technology  

 

Cyberport incubatee Origami Labs launched, in mid-July, ORII, the world's first voice-powered smart ring that instantly turns your finger into a smartphone, shifting communication towards a seamless voice interface.

 

The company introduced its newest technology on Kickstarter, a global platform that supports those in creative industries to transform their ideas into a reality.  ORII is receiving very encouraging responses from the global community.

 

In using bone conduction technology, ORII places voice assistants on the hand to deliver clear audio with complete privacy by sending sound vibrations through the finger and directly into the wearer’s ear. The dual noise cancelling microphones also enables wearers to make calls, access Siri or Google Assistant without the need to ever take out the phone.

 

The company-named one of Hong Kong’s top 10 Hottest Start-ups by Hong Kong Business Magazine earlier this year, presented ORII at Cyberport’s “Smart-Tryout” prior to the official launch.
