Driving King helps you find the best driving instructor

Cyberport incubatee Lemongene Technology is revolutionising the city’s driving learning industry with Driving King, its one-stop driving learning platform.

The user-friendly and safe to use mobile tool is delivering a new learning experience by allowing learner drivers to look for instructors based on personalised preferences.  By using a matching mechanism that filters district, language, time availability, price and review, the platform is delivering greater transparency and efficiency to the entire industry.

It is also facilitating private driving instructors to run their own businesses with greater efficiency, assisting them with marketing, the handling of order requests and managing learners.

Driving King is currently ranked no. 1 in both the App store and Google Play under the “學車” search term, the most goggled keyword for learning to drive.

“With over 70% of learners using our product, we are strengthening the connection between learners and instructors.  We have over 110 private driving instructors on our books.  This is already comparable with large scale local driving schools,” said Zhenyu Yin, founder of Driving King.

“Cyberport has provided tremendous support to us in many areas from financial assistance, training and mentorship to networking access with start-up community and investors.  Our success can be attributed, in essential part, to their support and the many resources available,” he added.

The company, which first gained seed funding in 2016, will soon be launching additional functions to enhance the app and optimise the success rate of learners in passing the test, as well as facilitate more efficient management for instructors.  Driving King is also looking to expand its business to Singapore and Mainland China.
