Cyberport Incubatee Molecule Financial launches financial social mobile app – StockFlash

Image

CCMF alumni Molecule Financial, also a newly-admitted Cyberport incubatee has launched their signature product “StockFlash,” the first financial social trending mobile app that focuses on linking key players in the Hong Kong stock market.

In connecting individual stock investors, stockbrokers, analysts, traders and industry practitioners (collectively the “experts”), the signature product will help individual investors identify experts with sound investment track records. Users can then follow their trading ideas and market analysis while experts can gain new clients based on their own investment performance thus creating a win-win situation.

The app’s unique features include instant notifications on experts’ investment analysis and trading ideas, ranking tables of financial experts based on performance, ongoing information on investment analysis and strategies, and instant dialogue box for investors and experts. The incubatee also has the capacity with its unique algorithms to convert big data into useful financial analysis, contributing to a better understanding of trading sentiment and activities.

The company won The Hong Kong General Chamber of Small and Medium Business’ SME Youth Entrepreneurship Award 2016; an honourable mention in this year’s Internet Finance Award (Emerging Internet Finance Company); as well as funding support from Nanjing Government. These recognitions help Molecule Financial gain a reputable market recognition in Hong Kong and China and stand out amongst rivals.

“Cyberport was an important turning point for our concept-to-prototype process. Apart from initial funding and free office space, Cyberport has provided various other support such as business and technology training, mentorship, marketing, industry recognition and investment opportunities,” said Mr. Samuel Wan, the company’s chairman.

The company is now planning the next round of fundraising to facilitate growth in the China market. It helps experts in Hong Kong enter the China market, and China’s individual investors to acquire advice from professionals who understand Hong Kong stock market really well.

“We would like to congratulate Molecule Financial’s recent achievements. The company has accomplished much in a short time. It has been wonderful to watch their transformative growth and be able to support them along the way,” said Herman Lam, CEO of Cyberport.
